In Q4 2025, global battery electric vehicle (BEV) sales crossed the four million milestone for the first time, marking a 17% increase year-over-year. For the full year, BEV sales surged 30% across all analyzed markets. China continued to drive global growth, with BEV sales climbing 16% YoY in Q4 and 33% for the full year.

Europe's top five markets also accelerated, posting 41% growth in Q4 versus the previous year. Germany rebounded with 56% YoY growth, while Spain and Italy – previously slow adopter – surged 77% and 44% respectively over the course of 2025.
